Why converting a Kotak statement by hand is slow
A busy Kotak account can run to hundreds of transactions a month. Copying them from a PDF into Excel means fixing merged cells, split narrations and amounts that paste as text. One wrong digit throws off every balance after it, and you only find out at the end.
ScrutinyReady reads the transaction table directly, joins narrations that wrap onto two lines, converts amounts written the Indian way (1,00,000.00) into real numbers, and writes dates in a format Excel understands.
What you get in the Excel file
One row per transaction with Date, Narration, Cheque/Reference number, Withdrawal, Deposit, a signed Amount column (withdrawals negative) and Balance. Numbers are stored as numbers, so totals, filters and pivot tables work straight away.
A second sheet called Check shows the opening balance, closing balance, the balance we calculated from the transactions, and whether they match.
Kotak Mahindra Bank statements in clean columns
Cheque numbers, UPI references and NEFT UTRs land in their own Reference column, so you can search or match them later. Our dedicated Kotak reader is being tuned on real statements; until then Kotak files are labelled "best effort" and every row is balance-checked.
Your data stays private
Statements are processed in memory on servers in India and nothing is saved. The rows come back to your browser, and the Excel file is built from what your browser sends back. We never see your file name, and we never store your PDF password.
