ScrutinyReady

Privacy and security

In short: your statement is processed in memory in India and never stored. Not the file, not the transactions, not the password.

Who we are

ScrutinyReady is a product of MappOptimist Technologies LLP (GSTIN 07ABWFM8939K1Z5), 2nd, 301, Balalji 2 Apartment, Gadaipur, Sultanpur Extension, New Delhi, South Delhi, Delhi 110030, India. For anything about your data, write to hello@scrutinyready.com or call +91 70115 29345.

What happens to your bank statement

When you convert a statement, the PDF is sent over an encrypted connection to our servers in India, read in memory, and the extracted rows are sent straight back to your browser. We do not save the PDF, the transactions, or the extracted rows. When you download Excel or CSV, your browser sends the rows back to us, we build the file in memory and return it, and nothing is kept.

If the PDF is password-protected, the password is used once to open the file in memory and is then discarded. It is never stored or written to any log.

We never see your file's name: the converter sends every file as "statement.pdf".

What we do keep

Basic technical logs for each conversion: a random job ID, the bank we detected, the number of pages, the file type (text or scanned), whether it succeeded, and how long it took. These logs never contain transactions, account numbers, names, file names or passwords.

When accounts and paid plans launch, we will also keep your email address, your plan and how many pages you've used, so we can apply plan limits and send invoices. Payments will be handled by our payment provider; we will never see or store card or UPI details.

Who else sees your data

Nobody else sees your statement data. It is not sent to any AI or language-model service, analytics tool or advertiser. Our servers are run by our cloud hosting provider in India, who processes data only on our instructions.

No ads appear on the converter or next to your results.

Cookies

The converter itself does not use cookies. If we later add analytics or sign-in, we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, and raise a grievance. Because we don't store statement data, there is usually nothing to return or erase from a conversion. Write to us and we'll reply within 30 days.

Grievances

Grievance officer: Yashvant Sikarvar, Partner. Email hello@scrutinyready.com with the subject "Grievance" or call +91 70115 29345. If you're not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date below before the change takes effect.
